Confidentiality policy

All data supplied by a client to QFP Champions will be treated as strictly confidential unless requested for by any authority.

“Confidential Information” means all confidential information disclosed by a client (“Client”) to QFP Champions Food Safety Consultants (“QFP Champions”), whether before, on or after the date of an agreement, whether orally, visually or in writing, that is designated as confidential or that reasonably should be understood to be confidential given the nature of the information and the circumstances of disclosure. Confidential Information, shall include without limitation, any and all business and marketing plans, technology and technical information, product plans and designs, and business processes disclosed by the Client.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, Confidential Information shall not include information which: (i) is already known to QFP Champions at the time of disclosure or becomes known to QFP Champions outside the scope of its work with the Client or without violation of a court order; (ii) is or becomes publicly known through no wrongful act of QFP Champions, its’ consultants, or any subsidiary of QFP Champions; (iii) is rightfully received by QFP Champions from a third party without restriction on disclosure; (iv) is independently developed by QFP Champions or any of its subsidiaries without use of the Confidential Information of the Client; or (v) is approved for release upon a prior written consent of the Client.
